Thank You!
My stay at The Beacon was absolutely amazing. The staff, the rooms, just everything was an experience I will never forget. Veronika made sure that everthing was in place for my large group when we arrived on Wednesday, August 6. Check-in was nice and smooth. The Front Desk staff, each and everyone, were ALL amazing. Finally, the rooms, magnificent. I would definitely recommend The Beacon to my friends and family as well as stay here again if ever in Miami again.

Great value for money , the rooms are small but gorgeous (and who wants to stay inside anyway in Miami!!) Walk out the door and it is instant party! terrific hotel
I almost hate to write this because I have a feeling that The Beacon is going to be "discovered" all too soon, and you know what that means? Higher rates! But anyway, my husband and I stayed at the Beacon last week and it was perfect! The hotel's location can't be beat. We never used our car, we walked everywhere, the beach is a hoot (best people watching there is!) and there is even Wet Willie's where you can buy drinks and take it back to the beach with you. There are so many restaurants around, you hardly know where to begin. But be warned--bring a fully stocked wallet. South Beach is expensive. Drinks are $10-$14 each. Dinners are a la carte. My husband and I each had one drink at dinner and just the entre and the least we paid was $80. That was for lobster ravioli and a cheeseburger with fries. Plus, tip, of course. Be careful--your tip 0f 17% is automatically included in the bill. The hotel is so art deco with a strong feeling of history. The rooms are small but very nice. All my husband keeps saying since we got home is, "Can't we get a flatscreen on our bedroom wall?" The room was super clean and the beds were sooo comfortable. Hard to get out of it in the morning. All the staff, particularly, Tony, at the desk, are warm and hospitable. Honestly, I can go on and on. My husband and I were more than pleased by the whole South Beach experience. Okay--so the Jersey shore has better sand and the beach was crowded, but it was Easter week. We are already planning to go back next year. And by the way, we're not super young, just 55! So don't believe for a second that South Beach is for the 20 -somethings. It's a HAPPY place for everyone and you should experience it through the Beacon Hotel!

Thank you
Hello guests,

Thank you all for sharing your comments about your experience at the Beacon. We are delighted to know that you enjoyed your stay at our hotel and we are looking forward to serving you on your next stay.

I want to answer the question about the perfect place to enjoy hot breakfast and drinks. My best recommendation is the NewsCafe in the corner of 8th and Ocean Drive. This is the famous restaurant where Versace had breakfast each morning when he lived in South Beach. Great food & drinks, excellent location, what more could one ask for?

There are some events right upon us such as the Ultra Music Weekend, Miami Fashion Week, and the Sony Ericsson Open. We look forward to seeing some of you at these events and if you have any questions please feel free to e-mail me at fritz@beaconsouthbeach.com and I will be happy to answer.

Best regards,

Fritz

California Girls
My friends and I went to Miami the end of February (a week ago) for my 25th birthday. We absolutely love the Beacon! It was conveniently located right across the beach and all the restaurants and cafe on Ocean Drive. The hotel was small but we manage to fit 4 girls. It was ok because we only used the room to shower and get ready… We hardly slept in the room…. He-he-he – we did most of the sleeping on the beach! The staff was absolutely helpful and very friendly. We are planning another trip Memorial weekend and planning to stay there again! .

Bronx 2 Miami
So Ive booked some nights there with my girl and cant wait. Im known to be a big alcoholic AND love to wake up early for steak and eggs. Any other suggestions for BFAST combined with some cocktail for an early buzz?! I would usually get a Steak and Eggs and some orange Alize, maybe a chef special or something.
